This is a good time to take a good look at the texts sent by Peter Strzok, the actions of James Comey and how they dovetail with the official actions of the FBI.
Over at The Daily Caller Chuck Ross has integrated the dossier timeline with the texts, but here we will examine events from a slightly different perspective then we'll circle back..
In one exchange from August 2016, the FBIs Lisa Page forwarded a Donald Trump-related article to Peter Strzok, writing: And maybe youre meant to stay where you are because youre meant to protect the country from that menace. This seems clear. Strzok was going to protect the country from Trump. He responded: Thanks. Its absolutely true that were both very fortunate. And of course Ill try and approach it that way. I just know it will be tough at times. I can protect our country at many levels, not sure if that helps.
But an Aug. 15, 2016 message has come under more serious scrutiny. The dossier was the insurance policyI want to believe the path you threw out for consideration in Andys office that theres no way [Trump] gets elected but Im afraid we cant take that risk, Strzok wrote to Page.
Andy is believed to be Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe.
Its like an insurance policy in the unlikely event you die before youre 40, Strzok added.
Strzok was at least part of the editing of the Comey statement:
Strzok interviewed Cheryl Mills, Heather Samuelson and Hillary ClintonThe FBI agent who was removed from Special Counsel Robert Muellers investigation into possible ties between the Trump campaign and Russia because he sent anti-Trump messages to a colleague oversaw the bureaus interviews with ousted National Security Advisor Michael Flynn, Fox News confirmed on Monday.
Peter Strzok, a former deputy to the assistant director for counterintelligence at the FBI, also was confirmed to have changed former FBI Director James Comeys early draft language about Hillary Clintons actions regarding her private email server from grossly negligent to extremely careless.
The FBI agent who was fired from Special Counsel Robert Muellers Russia investigation team for sending anti-Donald Trump text messages conducted the interviews with two Hillary Clinton aides accused of giving false statements about what they knew of the former secretary of states private email server.Yet somehow they escaped prosecution for lying to the FBI because Strzok wasn't going to jeopardize Clinton's campaign.
The FBI agreed to destroy evidence on behalf of Clinton aides:

Don’t I recall David kendal having a thumb drive full of classified information in a law office safe?

“the unlikely event you die before youre 40”
I’m not sure I understand what that means in this context.
Id believe what you say about Sessions if it wasnt for the fact that he was really the first big name to jump on the Trump Train during the campaign. Did the Deep State flip him or did he just sour on Trump?
Sessions used to be an honorable man. Then the investigations started and so many ‘real’ conservatives didn’t see anything happening and so thought that nothing was happening. So now Sessions is a dishonorable man.
What frickin’ garbage. Just because he isn’t running around and saying “look at me I’m investigating” doesn’t mean he isn’t.
I just love all the armchair generals here.
Sessions must be taking naps in the janitor’s office as he’s nowhere to be found for anything.
Give me evidence to the contrary of my opinion and I may change it.
I would SOOOOO love to be wrong on this, because that would mean there is a spark of life in our constitutional republic.
Alas......
