I passed on buying a Model 8 at an auction a few years ago. I regret that decision. It was in rough shape but it deserved another chance.

What caliber did you pass up?

The .35 Remington in the Model 8 and the .300 Savage in the Model 81 are the most practical calibers.

Still, brass is available for the others.
