Dolly Madison is my favorite. In the 1812 war with the British invading Washington DC she saved White House items before the British could loot or destory them. Brave lady!
The title of the book is Pat Nixon: The Untold Story by Julie Nixon Eisenhower...who is one of her daughters. It should be in the library or it can be ordered. Amazon has some books for sale, used and for very good prices.
This book is wonderful and a good read. I always admired Pat Nixon, but after reading this book I respect her even more.
