Go to the author’s website to find his theme. His specialty is helping us prosper (relatively) in an economically collapsing world, and the books he sells purport to do just that. He emphasizes the bad news view.
When people tailor their views to sell stuff, I have zero interest in reading their stuff. Thank you for letting me know his angle. I never read ad copy either... :-)
