This article is written from the deep state perspective. Our deep state members are almost completely locked out of Saudi Arabian influence now after the purge. But President Trump is not, as he seems to have a very productive relationship with the Crown Prince. They ignored completely President Trump's visit to Saudi Arabia and his reception there, the business that was done there at that time, and the opening of the Saudi anti extremism center.

While things are happening at a lightning pace, so far events are going Trump's way, not the deep state. So we need to plan to hear a lot of whining about policy from think tanks and John McCain as they lose influence.

Exactly. And throw in the refuted “Peak oil” theology.

As you indicated, this has the makings of a massive victory for President Trump and the USA in the war against Corruption, and against Radical Islam.
