That would be like expecting Weasel Mueller to do the right thing and resign for his ethical transgressions.

So, if Moore is found innocent, will McConell resign.

There won't be a trial so there will be no guilty or innocent verdict. If Moore doesn't withdraw then he'll be elected and serve his two years under a media cloud, shunned by his fellow Senators. They will see to it that he accomplishes nothing. Then in 2020 they will dredge all this up again as an excuse to primary him and defeat him.
