IMHO Merkel has really screwed up Germany. I hope she is ousted soon.
I will agree that Germany (and Western Europe) is screwed up.
But did Merkel screw up Germany or did a screwed-up Germany elect Merkel (and her party)?
Since the Socialist Democrat ideology of Merkel pervades Europe I would guess that it is a screwed-up Germany that elected Merkel.
Kind of a Chicken or the Egg thing here. But let’s hope that they figure out that they messed up soon and save themselves before it is too late.
I was over there on election day, and the German libs are freaking out over Ah-Ef-Day winning 90 seats. I had a great conversation with a jobless lib in a Craft Beer brewery in Berlin. Lots’ of fun. Hysterical.
