So who cares if he gets a few hits on his web site...?

Clicks and impressions. In the online advertising world it's called, clicks and impressions.

Advertisers pay for how many times an ad appears on someone's browser (a unique visitor generating an impression) and advertisers also pay (more) when a unique visitor clicks on an ad.

More unique visitors means more money. So, the bloggers like this one, mine FR readers by pimping their site(s).

These bloggers don't care about your opinions, questions or your politics. To them you just represent a means to make some easy money.

Create a blog, promote your business, or build a site for your personal use.

Is that the purpose of FR? To promote your business? Really?

Then why do you continue to ignore the site owner's specific request regarding blog excerpting? (Which has been posted to you on numerous occasions.)
