I saw a wolf two summers ago by Rimrock Lake in WA State, central cascades. Very rare, and I was surprised, because I didn’t think they existed period in WA State. But I asked some nearby hunters, because it was huge in comparison to a Coyote.

Rare? How long have you lived in WA? They've been here, thanks to the WDFW's introduction (which they deny;even though the subspecies here is NOT the subspecies that was once native) for a couple decades. They've been spreading far and wide, even being verified (road kill) near North Bend, EAST of the cascades. The wolves, along with the out of control cougar population is decimating the state's mule deer and elk herds. Now the geniuses want to reintroduce grizzlies. Pricless. Ask me how I really think sometime......
