In Las Vegas today the fight in the courtroom was one about who should be a juror or not.
The prosecution not wanting a member of the pool who discussed the Uranium One scandal.
The defense not wanting a member of the pool who wants more gun control laws.
The Constitution of the United States was the focus of defendant Ryan Bundy's questioning of jury pool members. Bundy is arguing in his own defense at the trial.
He stated that the Constitution was the supreme law of the land and asked if the pool members agree with that notion.
Bundy also asked if jury pool members believe that rights come from God. One said No that rights should not come from a religious perspective.
Ammon Bundy's defense lawyer was concerned that a potential juror used a "certain herb" and was concerned that use would distort their ability to deliberate the case......

This is the latest blog post on the trial in Nevada over the standoff near Bundy Ranch in 2014.

Isn’t it troubling that Ryan Bundy could not find a defense attorney to make these points. He could have brought up the concept of jury sovereignty and jury nullification, but I would guess at this point that could be a bridge too far.
