For all we know, Paddock might have thought he was entering a gun deal as the seller. Could Campos have then shot Paddock before firing on the crowd?

I’ll say one thing, Paddock might or might not be the shooter, but Paddock didn’t shoot himself.
There are 3,300 rooms at the hotel. How many other ‘door alarms’ were there at that time? How many security guards are there to respond to such alarms? I’d guess most guards are in the casino, not patrolling the hotel. It just seems suspicious that he was there at just the right time. And now, he’s in hiding. It may be that he’s in the country illegally, or perhaps he’s involved somehow. I think the girlfriend may also be involved as well.
Everything seems to fit if Paddock was a bag man for a drug outfit (and possibly an LE informant).
He’s an accountant, owner planes in the past, rented BnB’s for meeting.
That said, he had a gambling habit, extremely dangerous hobby if you handling large sums of cartel cash. Did he lose more than his cut, worse did he try to win it back?
Did he miss his scheduled drop, fearing his house would be ransacked he took all the guns with him?
Was he caught and became an informant. He could have been facing an uncertain future. If nothing, he would know high roller lifestyle would be coming to an end, add disgrace to that => resentment!

I wondered about this from the beginning. I don’t think he had anything to do with the shooting. He’s here illegally and he ran because he knew with all the publicity he’d been found out and deported.
The information also suggests he was not on the list as a license security guard (by the State of Nevada.) It is no longer a matter where there might be a Campos on the list with a different first name (and Jesus might have been a middle name.)
What about his other room reservations, conviently overlooking other large gathering, music venues, just as outlined by ISIS recommended actions?

I figured he was in the country illegally..which is why these big corporations want open borders, cheap labor..but doesn’t answer the question why he is in hiding..if he’s just some poor lil illegal, the left could have used him as a “Hero” and said “See, this young man saved lives, he needs to be given amnesty” but instead they are HIDING him for a reason..and that is the question

The holes in the door seem to be about 20. 200 was just a verbal estimate on the radio from one of the SWAT guys.
Some seem to have been fired after he took cover.
Anything about the “200” is nearly meaningless.
He was wounded, but remained mobile.
There has been *nothing* to link him to the shooter other than he was in the proximity when the shooting happened.
What if his intent was to burn EVERYONE. Take a significant sum from his employer (drug outfit), spite LE and commit an murderous act. What if he wanted to check all three boxes. Maybe there wasn’t the opportunity to hijack that last drug payment when he had otherwise schedule his murderous act in the past?
