Thx, I got through about half of it before I had to stop reading. When I read “dilation”, I thought, “huh? that’s a pregnancy term” and then realized, oh... wait a minute... and wanted to vomit.
Read that.....not unusual to see people regret this mutilation of their body. 8 months out and he’s still having issues mentally and physically. That is because this surgery does not address the real issues they have...in fact it often increases their issues.
That account is appalling, the poor man and no way out.
The doctors that do this surgery should be censured. Who would sell this to a patient as a reasonable alternative rather than life long misery? I guess the Hippocratic oath is passe.
91 days & still not back to work (knows people 7-9 months out with significant issues) - still having ‘problems’, evidently the dilation schedules are terrible & the process itself is painful, and he’s suicidal. Yup, just what we need in the military. /SARC
