Yes the author is extremely naive and saying that Reagan ended most of what Roosevelt did. The Socialist state is well established and only got worse under characters like Johnson and Obama. I agree with the headline, the left openly wants to see this country end.
IMO, there are only a handful of writers now in the tradition of Alan Stang and Col Dave Hackworth (both now deceased), among these are Sher Zieve, Cliff Kincaid, Joan Swirsky,Judi McLeod, Col Sellin, JB Williams, Sheriff Arpaio, etc. No BS! Right on Target, Cocked and Locked!

Trump only has four-eight years to change decades of treason and dark state sedition. I’m not sure that’s enough time.
It will take a generation of Trump's to turn the mess Obama and his progressive predecessors have made of the US of A.
While the Right spends their time trying to 'fix" things the Left has broken, the Left never tries to "fix" anything but their elections because their goal is a revolution.
It is in full-swing now with all of their BLM, Antifa, vagina stocking caps, illegal immigration, gun control and "Resistance" players fighting to overturn the ideals America was founded on.
They has been scheming and laying the groundwork for a socialist/communist revolution for decades and decades.

Agree. People like the idea of an easy path promised by the purveyors of big government socialism. Its like people who fall for ridiculous advertisements on TV that promise miracles and things that are too good to be true. There’s a sucker born every minute, and the socialists know the road to power and control is through promises of largess and “free stuff” to the masses.
Trump by himself will not be enough to turn back the tide. Like Reagan, he is just passing through. The socialists will never stop hawking their utopian policies and exploiting the naivete of gullible people.
Restoring our Constitution and liberty is the responsibility of We the People. Trump can help, but it is our duty to restore and sustain our republic.
Trump can’t do it alone.

The left’s most spectacular success has been in following Gramsci’s advice of taking over the country’s institutions.
It’s been a “long walk” but they pretty much have all of them under their control now.
The right was completely asleep as they did this.
I’m not sure how awake most of the right is to this strategy, but unless it awakens soon and starts to reconquer these grounds, the US as we knew it will be gone.
Trump is making a valiant effort in doing so, especially with one of the most important institutions - the media, but he needs a lot more help.
