To answer your question(s): No, I have not. You see, I have this defense mechanism which tells me that during events such as these, I engage in a personal blackout of news. I don't want to be further terrorized, preached to, and listen to pundits and media hacks tell me why its all my fault, an American should just give up their guns. I also know that the first casualty of war is the truth.
Oh, and BTW, I'm going to be in Las Vegas next month.
So rather than deal with this on an emotion level, I dealing with this as strictly based on evidence; not just what we are being told, but what we're NOT being told.
Like others, I have neither the time or patience for 'conspiracy theories' - just facts, and what we can conclude so far:
1. The accused is not a Republican.
2. The accused in not a member of the NRA.
3. Who ever did this didn't snap. It was cold and calculated.
If either of the above were true, it would have been the 2nd and 3rd attribute repeated from the lips of the media.
There maybe footage out there, but I have not seen it yet, I will ask again just as if the accused survived and was on trial in court: Has anyone seen a video proving the accused was actually firing the weapon(s) described from the location described on Oct 1, 2017?
I am not a gun expert, but there is a big difference between visiting Las Vegas and living/working there. I have done the latter. So I'll give a few more tidbits in case the media hasn't told you:
3. This is Vegas - the south end. There are cameras everywhere. Someone saw something, and its on video tape.
4. They watch everyone - especially if you're a big gambler.
With that said, I'll throw out a couple questions that may or may not have been asked from my Vegas background, that may lead folks to the truth:
A: What date was the accused due to check out of the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino? (No one gets open ended stays)
B: Was the accused gambling during his stay? if so, what games were in his interest, and how much was he ahead or behind? (Yes, Real America - casinos keep track of these things.
C: forget hiding weapons in suite cases (which without video proof, even that is speculation, how were these weapons hidden from those that service the rooms? (a do not disturb sign doesn't cover you past 36 hours. Do you know how many folks have died/passed out in those rooms? There are routine safety checks.
D. Knowing the area, this attack could have produced just as many or even more casualties targeting other areas on "The Strip". But this target was chosen - obviously for a reason.
If the government/media complex want me to swallow this story, they need to provide evidence that everything they have explained so far could define the accused as the shooter, instead of possibly as the first victim of a shooter.
Again, I don't know - have no idea. We just want the truth. But no one in my neck of the woods is buying the crap the government is selling .

C. If he left the weapons in the suitcases until just before the “event”, the hotel people wouldn’t have seen them.
WHO ID’d his body?? Certainly no family member. Whose fingerprints were on all the guns??? WHY was the second bedroom door LOCKED from the Other Side?
There is some street-upward footage that seems like it was filmed with a pro camera, CNN maybe? The original might be able to enlarge.

The death toll -- 58 or 59 dead, 527 injured. (I know the injured number just got revised down). It's been nearly a week since the shooting, but with 527 injured, there hasn't been a single additional death? No one else died of their injuries with THAT many injured? Doesn't pass the smell test for me.
Also, have you noticed that ever single one of the dead has gotten their own news story "profile" piece, and that 80% of those were shielding someone else from the gunfire? Considering no one knew the first sprays were coming, then there's a moment's hesitation as "reality" kicks in, I would have to guess that 20-30 of his victims were not "shielding" someone from fire. The first sprays would likely been the most lethal, as people were unaware of what was going on.
I had understood that he filmed the scene of the shooting and that he filmed himself shooting.

First off, I believe the event happened, and people were injured and killed by gunfire. I don’t think the entire thing was a hoax.
What I have an issue with is the ballistics data makes a mess out of at least one of the stories.
The shooter was on the 32nd floor of a building, shooting out of a window at night into a target area 350 +/- yards away. He was also allegedly using a bump-fire stock with an AR15 in either .223 or .308.
In what amounts to perfect conditions, which I define as: A perfectly still rifle in a bench or shooters rest, at 0 feet sea level, with a barometric pressure of 29.92 Hg, at 59 degrees F, and a relative humidity of 50% - A 70 grain Remington .223 bullet will travel (at an angle of -30 degrees which is an estimate based on the height of the floor and distance to the middle of the venue) for .5ms and drop 16 inches. When it leaves the barrel it will have a velocity of 2850 fps and an energy of 1263 lbf. When it hits the target area, it will have a velocity of 2051 fps and an energy of 650 lbf.
In the same conditions, a 168 grain Winchester .308 bullet will travel for .4 ms and drop 17 inches. When it leaves the barrel it will have a velocity of 2700 fps and an energy of 2720 lbf. When it hits the target area, it will have a velocity of 2086 fps and an energy of 1623 lbf.
In either case, the energy of the bullet at the point of impact could be lethal - with the .308 more than twice that of the .223. However, what I’m more interested in is the fact that many people reported either seeing someone shot multiple times, or being shot multiple times. At that angle - and in perfect conditions with a perfectly still weapon - during its flight to the target area, the .223 would have 11 inches of drop and the .308 would have 17. Drop is the effect of gravity pulling down on the projectile. The effect *is* lessened due the negative angle. For instance, the .308 would drop 22 inches if the angle were zero and the .223 would drop 21. However, it’s not enough to matter.
Our alleged shooter is using ARs with bump-fire stocks on what amounts to full auto for ten second plus bursts. The barrel of the gun is going to be moving around a *lot* when he is doing this - pretty much every round. What’s that going to do? It’s going to change the angle *and* the direction - because as I said above, my calculations are based on a *perfectly still* weapon on a bench or rest at a -30 degree angle. A bump stock used the way you can hear it in the videos will cause the barrel of the weapon to move a matter of a few inches back and forth and up and down. That will make one bullet leave the barrel at a -32 degree angle and the next one to leave at a -28 degree angle and the next to leave at a -34 degree angle and so on - and that’s not taking into account the side-to-side movement of the barrel. In short distances, this doesn’t matter much - but the farther away the weapon is, the more the effect is amplified.
At that distance - even in perfect conditions - every single round is going to have a trajectory that varies from every other round by a matter of *feet* - not inches.
The chances of one person being hit twice in the chest and once in the arm by an AR firing either caliber using a bump stock at that rate of fire, on ten-second plus bursts from the 32nd floor of that hotel, 350 +/- yards away, at night, are nearly zero. Even if he were standing perfectly still and even if the contention is that he fell inside the target area and was supposedly hit three *separate* times, the odds are still long. And that’s not what his friend said the night of the shooting. He was shot three times instantaneously and said aloud “I’ve been hit.” Then he went down and his friend covered him. There was no - “...he was hit and then we went down and he got hit again and then hit again later...”
Someone was closer - even on the ground somewhere - shooting a .223 or .308 AR on three-shot bursts - likely suppressed.
Does this mean he was the shooter in the hotel or not? I don’t know. I just know it means - to me anyway - that there was more than one shooter.
