After viewing the hotel layout, It’s highly plausible that there could have been others that slipped out before security had arrived. Very easily.
Any bad guys would know the cops would be bashing the door/doors down so all they’d have to do is dress in cop gear to blend in. In the commotion, no one would question them. All they’d have to do is hide behind a door or in the bathroom and come out yelling, “Clear!” and slip out the hall or stairs.
I’ve asked since the first day why those particular windows, so far apart, were broken. Made no sense. Now we’re told there were two separate rooms.
