When I was a DOD civilian, after retiring from the AF, the flight I was in had a management gap because no officer was available to play Flight Chief". A Black female E-7 was put in the spot. One morning, I was in early (habit I never got out of) making coffee and had the break room TV tuned to FOX. She came in, grabbed the remote and changed to one of regular network "news" channels saying, "Unh uh - ain't no FOX gonna be on any TV under my control" and walked out.

I turned the channel back to Fox and she came storming in cursing me and demanding I change the channel back. I smiled and asked her how far she wanted to take it up the line. She hated my guts for the rest of the time she was there but never tried to ban a channel because they didn't properly cater to racist minorities....these days she might have backing up-chain....
