No fear of backlash from the owner, but what about backlash from the public, from the fans, from the cratering of TV ratings, decline in attendance, audible boos from the crowd, etc.????

These guys are too stupid to realize they are in a hole and they are still digging. They have no idea how fed up people are with these thugs. Absolutely no idea.
Tonight at dinner at the next table I heard two guys talking about how p-o'd they are about the kneeling. One of them comes from a family with season tickets. The family is dumping them.
Goodall and a bunch of brain damaged thugs are going to be looking for new jobs.
