Proverbs 16:18 Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.
Proverbs 29:23 A man's pride shall bring him low: but honour shall uphold the humble in spirit.
Pride and Ego gets in our way - I think we all inherited these traits from Adam when he fell for Satan's lie that he and his wife could be equal to God.
Regretfully, I think the NFLers are going to continue digging and they aren't going to climb out of this hole.
