President Donald Trump began distancing himself from a Luther Strange loss before ballots were even cast, telling conservative activists Monday night the candidate he’s backing in Alabama’s GOP Senate primary was likely to lose – and suggesting Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell would be partly to blame.
Trump told conservative activists who visited the White House for dinner on Monday night that he’d underestimated the political power of Roy Moore, the firebrand populist and former judge who’s supported by Trump’s former chief strategist Steve Bannon, according to three people who were there.

Trump doesn’t care about same sex anything. Not on his top ten list. Moore alienates a lot of people Trump gets along with. No real change for him. He knew Strange would lose but interrupts the narrative builders. 3d chess.

I predict McConnell will be outed as Majority leader as a first
line of defense to slow down the stampede of primary challengers

Trump should be glad to take the ‘L’ on this - it sounds like Moore will be a far stronger Senate ally to him than Strange would have been.

The Republican Party is every bit as broken as the Dummycrats. It is k rested with corrupt, Marxists. It cannot be redeemed and must be burnt to the ground.
Bar Trump in 2020 I have no plans on ever voting GOP again.
Voters gave Trump agenda a drubbing.
