Wow! So there was no way to go back and make the Bengals or Reds pay their unpaid rent? If they threaten again to leave, they should be forced to pay that first.

It’s not just happening in professional sports. I’ve seen local governments trying to sell building stadiums for college teams too — UAB football. All it is is welfare sports where a few are fleecing the taxpayers.

I am sick of colleges and universities taking in students that couldn’t get in without athletic ability. I don’t care if they can dunk a basketball or not. If they don’t deserve to be in college, don’t let them in. It’s all a big lie.

I will enjoy the NFL boycott. I’ve been growing sick of the league for years. Oh ..... and I have been sick of their ties to the extremist liberal United Way for years too.

It was quid pro quo. The city was legally reauired to collect rent. They refused to do so for about 10 years. They were in a hurry to get the tax passed and the new stadiums started so they could bury the no rent deal and the 20 million shortfall.

No way the city or the county would implicate themselves. On top of it all, selling Private Seat Lincense (of a publically funded and owned facility) by the Bebgals for season ticket holders clearly violated Obio law. But we couldnt get anyone on Cincinnati Council or any attoerneg willing to take it on. The belief of sport addicts that pro sports is so beneficial to communities is almost universal among the socialist city elite.
