For some reason Republicans (in name only) feel they need to propose an alternative healthcare scheme in place of the failed ObamaCare plan. The best start, easiest, and practical thing to do is REPEAL the Affordable Care Act with nothing attached (kind of like Prohibition). Then let the next Socialist run on proposing a new Plan and watch the public rejection. Socialized Medicine is a failed concept every time it is attempted. Congress critters (no matter their party affiliation) will do everything in their power to prevent an existing law from being repealed entirely thereby wasting the opportunity to screw it up even more.

Senator Rand Paul took the fire for this; now, Cruz comes out, not very original. I think the Pauls trip up on issues like this but, as mistaken as I think some of their libertarian principles are, they are their principles too. Cruz is just piggy-backing again.
