Rand Paul marginalizes himself. Do you remember when he said our national security would not be threatened by Iran acquiring a nuclear weapon? How is that position even rational, much less practical?
So it will be known as TrumpCare, which will be ObamacareLite.
Both are unconstitutional and give gov’t access into the PRIVATE health information of every citizen.
Socialized medicine is rationed. Tell me the Gov’t won’t use our health information AND OUR POLITICAL positions to ration our health care AGAINST us.
Control. Gov’t Control. American Liberty’s Suicide.
REPEAL AND DO NOT REPLACE.
This will solve nothing, except put the blame for the guaranteed failure on the Republicans.
You cannot insure against pre-existing conditions. Whatever scheme does that is not insurance, but simply wealth distribution from those that had insurance to those that didn't bother to pay for insurance. It is the key to eventual single payer.
As even Bernie Sanders once admitted, Medicare for all (single payer) will bankrupt America.
Do you understand the September 30th deadline?
Which makes him perfect for the purposes of our opposition.
As far as I know, Rand, and his father before him, could even be willingly filling this role of making certain that few if any of our representatives dare to agree with them, ever.
That way, the truth can be marginalized practically every time they utter it.
That still doesn’t make them wrong when they say something that is, in fact, true.
Truth ought to be recognized, even, in fact, perhaps especially, if it comes out of the mouth of the devil himself.
That won’t happen and state blocks for experiments may actually improve overall healthcare. Besides, taking what you said to its conclusion, we need to get rid of Medicare and Medicaid
That is correct. There would be none of these socialized gov’t programs. Gradually ease the seniors off (as they have had to become dependent upon them and did pay into the system) but abolish them altogether.
If gov’t allowed people to actually keep what they earn (prior to the creation of the IRS), they wouldn’t need to be dependent upon the gov’t. That’s the way our Republic was created to function.
The average person barely paid into Medicare. The Medicare/aid tax rate is 1.45% and average income of $35k, which is $500 per year. $500 * 40 years of working is $20k paid in. And that’s not even counting the fact that huge portions didn’t work anywhere close to 40 years. But repealing those two boondoggles will never happen.
Rand is NOT looking at the big picture.
He just wants to repeal. We have to take small steps to get there. He just wants his way or the highway.
A big mistake.
All that does is force us to accept Obamacare.
>>But repealing those two boondoggles will never happen.

To restore our Republic the way our FF intended, it needs to happen. I agree with you, though, don’t see it ever actually happening....(unless the whole entire system collapses, of course).
Agreed
