Rand Paul might soon go down as the Republican who saved Obamacare — and he couldn’t care less.

"I'm actually happy to be out there as the leading advocate for repealing Obamacare, not keeping it," the Kentucky Republican said in an interview. Of his GOP colleagues, Paul added: "These people, they so totally do not get it."

This is pure pu$#Y politics by the GOPe, RINOs, Graham-Cassidy, et. al.

And if the bill passes and the costs keep going up, will the critics here admit they were completely wrong?

How does it die in 2018?

That was not a full repeal. That was also a joke of a bill!

Which bill are you speaking of? I have referred to 56 or so already. So you need to be specific.

But, regardless, I don’t care if costs keep going up.
I refuse to have that discussion.
I refuse to assume the premise that the federal government should be involved.
I refuse to assume the premise that just because it may be good, healthy, less expensive, whatever, that it becomes a role of the federal government.

This is not federal government legal authority.

Note that Republicans are not saying that Rand Paul is incorrect. Rand and other senators KNOW that this bill keeps Obamacare in place - just like Rand Paul says.

But they want to be able to go back to their voters and say that they got the best deal that they could so they don’t get tossed out.

This bill is nothing more than an incumbent protection act.

Does the saying “Don’t Let the Perfect Be the Enemy of the Good” apply?

***************

Rand Paul thinks he’s infallible. His sense of self-righteousness knows no bounds. He is insufferable.

He is convinced he is ALWAYS right and everyone else is wrong. There are psychological maladies that describe rigid people like him. Its his way or the highway.

That’s why he will never be president.

If Graham-Cassidy passes, and costs keep going up, would my opinion be right?

Why ask? You’ve already concluded that you’re right.

I was entertaining your point of view. I’m not inflexible.

Now you’re taking the ad hominem route. Nicely done.

Suffice to say, I’m just glad Rand Paul is not president.

Even Mark Levin supports this bill, and so do I, because it hands some of the power down to the states and nixes the individual and corporate mandates.

So, tell me, Mr. Paul, did B*tch allow you to vote no, just in case McCain votes yes this time?

Actually, that was a partial repeal bill. The full repeal bill only received 45 votes.
