World peace is helped by a powerful yet predictable United States. When the global power is weak or indecisive, disorder spreads and war becomes possible.

"In America, we do not seek to impose our way of life on anyone, but rather to let it shine as an example for everyone to watch."

Bears repeating, especially to all of those on the left who decry that we are a bunch of imperialists trying to build the American empire.

In America, the people govern, the people rule, and the people are sovereign. I was elected not to take power, but to give power to the American people where it belongs.

One of my favorite lines in the whole speech.

Though I think the #1 line is ROCKET MAN!!!

“In America, the people govern, the people rule, and the people are sovereign. I was elected not to take power, but to give power to the American people where it belongs.”

And that is the real difference from the “ruler” of this country over the last 250 years and Trump now. He is the first president in centuries to actually try to do what he said he was going to and what the people actually voted him in to do. Trump was not voted in to continue the run. He came in with a bucket list that was approved by the people and not the politicians. And this is what scares the hell out of them as we have a guy in our corner now and not hiding there. And getting into the faces of the rouge nations at the UN is one of them.

I’m reminded of the words of our 26th president, Teddy Roosevelt, when he pronounced we should “walk softly, but carry a big stick.”

The stick has been locked in the closet for way too many years. If you look closely into the words of president Trump, you may just see it in your mind. ‘Bout time.
