One of the many reasons Hillary Clinton gave for why she lost the presidential election was the climate of misogyny.
Hillary also defines misogyny as also pointing out the differences between men and her, seeing how she's the only one to get as far as she did, Hillary vs. the boys is our only frame of reference. So fine, let's go there as there are many reason why she lost and most of those reasons were of her own doing.

The drunken stumblebum married an ambitious, ruthless, charismatic future rapist and President, agreeing to push out one really ugly baby with his surname, in exchange for which she was promised higher office. During her entire public career she's rationalized her continual misconduct, corruptions, and crimes, and those of her rapist husband-in-name-only. That makes the difference between ordinary American voters and a pathologically self-centered career criminal.
