I found in our old family farmstead a collection of my great uncle’s hunting and shooting magazines. One from about 1960 featured a trip to the mountains of Iran with the Shah of Iran’s brother, basically would bring a tear to your eye. Thanks for sharing these. I wonder how I could share the aforementioned article here?

I like the old ones that even have a mailing form you send in a check and they mail you your weapon:

there was even one from 1950s for a ski-mounted 20 mm Lahti or something..!

I remember those Marlin shotgun ads. Sadly, nothing of the sort is offered any longer. That was once a thriving part of their business, especially the utilitarian “Goose Gun”.
