Spokane is a LOT more conservative than the WA left coast the other side of the Cascades. But the larger Seattle population of clueless liberal idiots wag the rest of the WA dog ruthlessly and relentlessly. And there are some vocal liberal idiots in Spokane, as well.

Trump beat Clinton 49.9% to 41.2% in Spokane County. This compares to a 38% Washington State overall vote for Trump (because of western WA). Spokane is not “very liberal”.
