Back in my day we couldn’t just make front-line fighters out of scrap in our backyards. We had to settle for Sopwith Camels, and the government had all the Fokkers. Come to think of it, they still do.

OK,if one is removing aluminum cavities, it would necessary to fill them up! Since the cavities in the “lower receiver” that someone is purchasing do not yet exist, it was purchased with the cavities “pre-removed!” Good deal!
Now I wonder, would I need to spend more or less to get this receiver with the cavities pre-removed?
