• Castle Doctrine laws have been passed in numerous states.
• Stand Your Ground laws have been passed in many states.
• Gun rights lobbying groups have become a cottage industry.
• In the worst economy since the Great Depression the firearms industry can't keep up with orders or expand fast enough.

• 46,455 Background Checks For Gun Purchases Each Day Under Obama 5/3/2013
