After reading the 'twit', he (Prady) did not say what the headline implied.
He simply was checkmated by the lady, who asked Prady to follow the logical conclusion of his statements, and rather than admit that he was wrong, he threw over the chessboard and beat a retreat (so he could claim victory later).
I understand the point that the headline writer was making, but Prady was just being a coward and refused to apply his 'logic' to the conclusion that the lady, rightfully, pointed out that it led.
