The breaking point for my wife was the flooding of our daughter’s school. She saw photos of that and it made her cry. It’s a church too. All underwater. St. Thomas Episcopal, 77096.

it’s only a couple of miles upstream from us. No way for me to even get there. I’m gonna try the 610 freeway, with mtn bike. It’s flooded and blocked to vehicles, but there is no current there and it looks about waist deep.

I didn’t mean to disrespect. I lived in Houston 3 years. I went to Holy Ghost school in Belair. We had floods but nothing like this. I was there the year it snowed. Back in the late 50s.
