Yesterdays WaPo transcripts of Trumps calls with the leaders of Mexico and Australia may be the best filter yet for separating garden-variety Trump critics from hardcore anti-Trump fanatics. Who thinks its a welcome development that the president cant have a candid phone conversation with a fellow head of state anymore without having to worry that a minute-by-minute account will find its way into the newspapers? Not Democrat Ben Cardin:
I dont think the transcripts should have been leaked, Sen. Ben Cardin told CNNs John Berman Friday on New Day. Weve had reports on both the Australian call was well reported. So I dont think it was a surprise to read the transcripts.
Not former Obama advisor David Axelrod:
(TWEET-AT-LINK)
Not former Obama NSC member Ned Price:
This is beyond the pale and will have a chilling effect going forward on the ability of the commander in chief to have candid discussions with his counterparts, Ned Price, a former National Security Council official under President Barack Obama, told The Hill.
Granted, the White House contributed to this atmosphere by welcoming the free-for-all environment, where anonymous leaks are commonplace. But we must draw the line somewhere.
Not stalwart Trump skeptic David Frum either:
But if no high national-security secret has been betrayed in these transcripts, the workings of the U.S. government have been gravely compromised, and in ways that will be very difficult to repair even after Trump leaves office. Trumps violation of basic norms of government has driven people who would otherwise uphold those norms unto death to violate them in their turn. Contempt for Trumps misconduct inspires counter-misconduct.
Nor is that the end. The less Trump can trust the regularly constituted government, the more justified he will feel in working irregularly. His irregular actions then justify more counter-irregularity from the rest of the government.
The hazards of mainstreaming this sort of leak are obvious for reasons both pro-Trump and anti. If nothing else, a Trump-hating Democrat should be able to imagine a future Democratic president being hamstrung this way and dislike what happened yesterday for purely precedential reasons. The argument might be different if something alarmingly newsworthy had come from leaking the transcripts, but it didnt. It was done purely to embarrass the president and stoke his insecurity. Only a dull, hyperpartisan hack with an agenda would treat it as something to celebrate. So heres Maxine Waters treating it as something to celebrate.
Exit question: Should we be bothered that a sitting congresswoman is encouraging natsec crimes on national television?

Mad Maxine hates America.
Just think Maxine if you ever get another Demonut President the Leaking will continue
Maxine should read this (I didn’t write it, I found it on Breitbart).........
TRUMPS PROMISES MADE AND KEPT SO FAR: This does not reflect the most recent accomplishments in the last 4 months.
Campaign Promise 1: To replace Antonin Scalia with a like-minded justice from a list of 20. Trump replaced Antonin Scalia with Neil Gorsuch, an incredibly qualified and Constitution-abiding justice.
Campaign Promise 2: To suspend immigration from terror-prone countries

Trump has Launched a Council empowering female leaders and female entrepreneurs
Campaign Promise 7: To renegotiate, or pull out of Bill Clinton’s terrible trade deal, NAFTA. Trump met with Justin Trudeau (what a joke) to discuss the tweaking of NAFTA to benefit the US more, after he threatens to leave it
*- The Trump Administration has laid out what he wishes to see in regards to NAFTA reform
Campaign Promise 8: To undo ridiculous Obama-era federal agency regulations
Trump ordered a two-for-one repeal for all new regulations enacted by federal agencies

-There was an increase of 298,000 jobs in February alone (liberals will say that counts in Obama’s fiscal year, but we know the truth).
-Trump met with Intel CEO who promised $7 Billion investment and over 3,000 high paying (not “shovel ready” BS jobs) in America.
-Trump met with the CEO of Softbank who has promised 50,000 more American jobs and has already fulfilled 3,000 of those jobs.
-Kroger has promised over 10,000 new jobs in the era of Trump.

Campaign Promise 20: To enact a hiring freeze on government employees to help stop corruption. Trump enacted a hiring freeze to all federal employees, cutting down on the over-bloated bureaucracy.

Campaign Promise 22: To undo many of Obama’s unconstitutional Executive Orders
Rescinding (one of) Obama’s incredibly unconstitutional actions regarding transgender bathrooms in schools.
Campaign Promise 23: The repeal and replacement of Obamacare. The recent GOP fallout of AHCA Plan was no fault of Trump’s. The blame solely belongs to Speaker Ryan. He created a crap bill and couldn’t even capitalize to get enough votes. Obamacare will crash in 2017 when individual mandates kick in and kick in and Democrats will be to blame. That is when Trump will truly work to Repeal and Replace it with a plan he promised us.
Trump got rid of the idiotic penalty in Obamacare that fines you if you choose not to participate in the program

Campaign Promise 29 Trump executive order pulls out of TPP trade deal
ACTIONS NOT PROMISED ON THE CAMPAIGN TRAIL, BUT HAVE BEEN PUT IN EFFECT:
(Even though it was Mike Pence) The defunding of clinics that perform abortions. Because no matter whether you are pro-choice/pro-life, the government should not be funding abortions. (Also, if people bring up the Hyde Amendment which is supposed to not let any federal funding go towards abortions, LET THEM KNOW that US taxpayers pay for about 24% of abortions despite of that “amendment”)
Huge spikes in the NASDAQ average index and the DOW average index starting November 8th. (This will count for Obama unfortunately, but we know where the real credit belongs.)
He has placed sanctions on Iran after they tested ballistic missiles
He has met with/talked to over 68 foreign leaders
He negotiated down the Price of the new Air Force One, One billion dollars in a meeting that lasted just one hour
He issued major cuts to the costs of the F-35 saving billions
He has opened the eyes of the American public to just how unbelievably corrupt (pretty believable to most) the Obama Administration was.
After spending 3 years in a prison in Egypt, and absolutely no help from President Obama, humanitarian and US citizen Aya Hijazi has safely returned home and has given all credit to President Trump

*** Edits of MAGAing as promised***
U.S. Debt:
As of July 20th, the US Debt has decreased under President Trump since his inauguration by (-$103) Billion. (President Obama increased the US debt in his first 6 months more than $974 Billion or nearly $1 Trillion.) The difference between Presidents Trump and Obama is more than $1 Trillion.
Jobs:
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics President Trump added a projected 1,027,000 jobs in his first six months (January through June 2017.) President Obama on the other hand lost more than 3,826,000 million jobs in his first six months.
Unemployment:
Also according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics the unemployment rate since President Trumps inauguration decreased from 4.8% to 4.4% (January through June 2017). The unemployment rate in January 2017 was 4.8% and by June it was down to 4.4%. Unemployment under President Obama on the other hand moved in the opposite direction. In his first six months as President the US unemployment rate increased each month from 7.8% in January 2009 to 9.5% by June of 2009.
Inflation:
As noted earlier this week, according to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics the US inflation rate decreased to an eight month low in June to 1.6%. This is in part due to President Trumps energy policies that are helping average Americans with cheaper gas and electricity.
Housing Sales:
Housing sales are red-hot in the US right now. In 2011, houses for sale were on the market an average 84 days. This year, its just 45 days.
According to the US Census Bureau, there were nearly twice as many US housing sales in the past couple of months as there were under President Obama in 2009 during the same time period. (The annualized housing sales rate for May 2017 is reported at 610,000 where in 2009 this amount was only 376,000.)
The US Manufacturing Index soared to a 33 year high in President Trumps first six months which was the best number since 1983 under President Reagan.
The Federal Reserve has increased interest rates three times since President Trump was elected into office in November. The Fed increased interest rates only once in Obamas 8 Years prior to the increase after President Trumps winning the election in November.
Illegal immigration is down almost 70% under President Trump.
NATO announced Allied spending is up $10 Billion because of President Trump.
President Trump is doing all he can for the American people and as a result the economy is on fire with the stock market reaching new all time highs once every four days! In nearly every economic category the US economy is improving under President Trump. In addition, President Trump has implemented numerous executive actions that he promised he would do when running for office. The US is in much better shape in only six months. Americans have hope again due to the real changes this President instituted from the economy to immigration.
Moms Mabley is at it again. Pathetic.
Seriously? This is just like the "reasoning" of Antifa fascists who attack peaceful people for the provocative act of standing in line to hear a conservative speaker.
It is not Trump's doing that there are socialists in government who will destroy the country before they let go of their dreams of totalitarian dictatorship.
We, the People, have decided we will no longer tolerate the "norms" that are destroying our country. Deal with it, leftists.
She would feel the exact opposite if this were happening to her Messiah Obama

AllahPundit is a known little b***. I am unsure how his website still gets views. The Right Scoop, infamous for being NeverTrump, is basically just a click bait site now, but HotAir somehow continued. Funding from GOPe donors?
Mad Max has been leaking brain fluid for decades
Analpundit is the reason I don’t read Hot Air anymore.
Californians need to oust this nucklehead in the next election. They deserve better
Tell the watah buffao to STFU! ...
Tell the watah buffalo to STFU! ...
These are good but the anti-Clinton Wikileaks leaks were a national crime that justify removing a legitimate government?
