It’s nice to see unbridled enthusiasm for something American coming out of London rather than snideness. P. F. Chang is well thought out, the food is interesting, nicely presented as well as pretty tasty, and the interior is Apple-sleek. I wouldn’t call it necessarily cheap though, but maybe by London standards it is.

I agree— it is kind of fun to see the enthusiasm for the Americanized PF Changs. My first thought was: I guess that means they will soon be getting a Cheesecake Factory next door!! Between the two, PF Changs wins every time. It also reminded me of an excited conversation I overheard on a train into London. It was the early 2000s and this group of young couples couldn’t wait to go eat at KFC!!

PF Chang’s sea bass is ambrosia marinated in Olympian nectar.
