Steven Wasserman, DWS’s brother, IS an Assistant US Attorney at US Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia. But Wasserman is one of 350 Assistant U.S. Attorneys in that office. Steven Wasserman's name is NOT on that criminal complaint. That criminal complaint was signed by Michael J. Marando, another one of the 350.
Now, this is where it gets interesting. (via NYT 4/25/2015): Michael J. Marando is married to JoAnna Wasserman.

Prior to joining the University of Maryland Medical System, Wasserman was assistant to the vice president for business development for AMTRAK and vice president for First Fidelity Bank, where he was responsible for business development, government and public affairs. From 1991 to 1995, he served as Maryland's Secretary of Economic and Employment Development and prior to that served as Chief of Staff to the Governor of Maryland.
