With all due respect for your opinions, that is a pipe dream. Trust me, the party is owned, financed and controlled by people a lot more powerful than we are. They will never allow this to happen. The GOP dances to their tune, not ours.

I got a hint of this in the 1990s. In the 2000s, I thought the media pushed the Nation leftward because they were Liberal. In the last two years, I have come to the conclusion that the media is Liberal because Liberal Federal policies enrich the people who own the media, and I also realized that the Republicans are simply the other sock puppet of the wealthy people who control the Democrats and the Media.

I also realized that this stealth "relationship" between Wealthy Interests and the Deep State/Washington Establishment have been going on a long time.

I believe this relationship goes back to the Civil War, and actually a bit further.

The North East Wealthy runs Washington D.C. through influence and other strings they can pull (such as the media) to manipulate Washington D.C. policy.

************

Absolutely true. As the great Will Rogers once said “We have the best politicians money can buy”.

Apropos to last night’s debacle, Rogers also observed that “”The Senate just sits and waits till they find out what the president wants, so they know how to vote against him.”

Other great Rogers quotes that might help put our current crisis into some perspective. Enjoy!
