As McCain’s brain deteriorates, the Leftist side is emerging as the dominate part of his thinking. Will he be able to function in the Senate? We remember frail West Virginia senator Byrd who was brought into the Senate chambers in a wheelchair for key votes. And Senator Ted Kennedy’s identical brain cancer was causing seizures in his last days. McCain’s last days will not be good.

I had great hopes for the Tea Party and was very disappointed that the movement did not materialize into a new party. It was a missed opportunity IMO. But it did show it is possible to galvanize and energize a lot of people quickly through grass roots efforts.

After this latest GOP train wreck maybe Trump will consider launching a new party. I don’t think he has ever been that attached to the GOP to begin with.

People close to me have worked inside various GOP operations. The party culture and machinery are very money driven. Think of it as an exclusive club, and we’re not in it. And never will be.

Ask yourself what the GOP stands for. The answer, I think, is that nobody really knows because it is a soulless party lacking any principles, beliefs, or convictions. We need another party IMHO.

McCain is an SOB and will soon be a dead SOB. No big loss.

But he did us a favor in killing this POS bill. Why?

Because thanks to McTurd, Congress has now utterly failed, and that opens the door for other solutions, including executive orders from the President that will work around the existing framework. Including actively campaigning against the failed congressmen and senators. Including putting forth his own healthcare proposal which he will sell directly to the American People (all the while contrasting his leadership with the failed Congress).

I’m not going to thank McCain but in the end, he did us a favor.

It seems there are certain Republicans that need to be automatically booted out of the party.

With all due respect for your opinions, that is a pipe dream. Trust me, the party is owned, financed and controlled by people a lot more powerful than we are. They will never allow this to happen. The GOP dances to their tune, not ours.

I got a hint of this in the 1990s. In the 2000s, I thought the media pushed the Nation leftward because they were Liberal. In the last two years, I have come to the conclusion that the media is Liberal because Liberal Federal policies enrich the people who own the media, and I also realized that the Republicans are simply the other sock puppet of the wealthy people who control the Democrats and the Media.

I also realized that this stealth "relationship" between Wealthy Interests and the Deep State/Washington Establishment have been going on a long time.

I believe this relationship goes back to the Civil War, and actually a bit further.

The North East Wealthy runs Washington D.C. through influence and other strings they can pull (such as the media) to manipulate Washington D.C. policy.

“John McShame is a very angry bitter man that he was never elected President and this is his way to put the screws to President Trump; however, he is hurting the American people. Heard on the news that two people in their 50’s who have health problems jumped to their death after McShame voted against the American people. There was no way they could manage the Obama Health Insurance. Of course, knowing McShame, it won’t bother him in the least that those two peoples blood is on his hands, not to mention now their children was orphaned.

He was chosen to kill it because of his cancer and his recent reelection. You are correct another ahole would have stepped up and voted no if McIsane hadn’t. Plus McIsane hates his own party and his country and holds them in contempt.

If I were Trump I would suggest McIsane consider his party identification because he is anything but a Republican and not even in the freaking hemisphere of being a conservative.

I suspect the GOP just put their majority status in grave danger come 2018. I have NO reason to waste a minute of my time on these lying SOB’s.

And the same would immediately happen to any "third party" which showed any indication of actually being able to win, or even influence, elections anywhere.

The North East Wealthy runs Washington D.C.

************

Absolutely true. As the great Will Rogers once said “We have the best politicians money can buy”.

Apropos to last night’s debacle, Rogers also observed that “”The Senate just sits and waits till they find out what the president wants, so they know how to vote against him.”

Other great Rogers quotes that might help put our current crisis into some perspective. Enjoy!

“John McShame is a very angry...”

Period.

Otherwise, what’s his excuse for the last 25 years?

Will Rogers was one of the great “wits” of the World. There were also Churchill, Lincoln, et al.

Here’s a list of where the members get their insurance.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/apps/g/page/politics/which-senators-and-representatives-have-signed-up-for-obamacare/646/

It’s a little out of date. For example, Ted Cruz had to sign up for Obamacare when he lost his wife’s coverage.

http://www.cnn.com/2015/03/24/politics/ted-cruz-obamacare/index.html

The only “exemption” they get is that they get a stipend to pay for it. Employers are supposed to offer insurance under the ACA so they can’t pay for exchange plans, but since congress and their staff are required to buy their insurance on the exchanges, they were given a special rule to allow them to treat it like an employer sponsored plan.

But the plan they get is bought on the exchange.

“she (Palin) was ridiculed and made a national joke by the liberal establishment forcing her out of politics.”

The liberal establishment was only half of the problem. McCain’s own staff - Nicole Wallace, et al. - brutally sabotaged her from Day One.
