Halal pretty much equals Kosher with bad press.

Kosher - animal is killed prior to slaughter
Halal - animal is slaughtered while alive

Kosher slaughter requires of the slaughterer:
"Only one who is knowledgeable in the laws of slaughtering (shehitah) and proficient in its practice, and who is a believing, pious Jew, may act as a slaughterer (shohet)" So Kosher and Halal are, by definition, mutually exclusive.

Camel meat is never kosher (Leviticus 11:4, Deuteronomy 14:7). It is, however, halal (Koran 22:36).
