In an article about nevertrumpers, you had to create a new category of Trump supporter, the “OnlyTrump” and then equate the two, when there were almost no such OnlyTrump people ever in existence, and none here. NeverTrump was the problem and now we read that a good number of them are working with the democrats. They were never conservative, they just talked a good game.

"...almost no such OnlyTrump people ever in existence, and none here."

That is quite a statement. Certainly I would not agree.

Mythical beings or not in your mind, as long as you agree that an OnlyTrump attitude would be just as immature as a NeverTrump attitude, then I'm satisfied.

Regarding this statement:
"They were never conservative, they just talked a good game."

It could fit some of the NeverTrumpettes as well as Trump himself - depending on the topic.

The word "conservative" has a fairly subjective definition.

Regarding federal entitlement programs Trump is not, AT ALL, what people on a site devoted to Freedom would normally call a conservative - if the thing we wish to conserve is Freedom.

But at least he has not flip/flopped on that issue anyway. We already knew from the campaign that he is not a traditional conservative in that respect.

I don't like that aspect of Trump, but it is what it is and he won. He was totally wrong, from Freedom's perspective, on TrumpRyanCare 1.0 - disastrously wrong. And the HFC was right.

Trump has been wrong already on some stuff, Trump will be wrong on other stuff. But I don't disown him or anything. By the same token, he and his more devoted followers should not dismiss other good Republicans just because they don't always agree on strategies and bills.

I'm talking about the HFC, Cruz, Walker, guys like that who Trump has trashed along the way. They are good people and we should not try to purge them or anything.

When it comes to guys like McCain, Graham and, in recent years, Paul Ryan, then yes I would primary them. The first two have always been flaky. Paul Ryan started his career coming to town as the Donald Trump of entitlement reform in the sense that he was boldly going to tackle the issue like Trump boldly attacks immigration issues - Ryan was on a glorious mission to rid the federal level of entitlements. But, for whatever reasons, he went sour and/or soft on several issues and never was a very good leader.
