Willie Brown’s side bitch.
The sovereign remedy for arguably ineligible candidates is State action.Hard to believe, but Electors to vote for POTUS do not have to be popularly elected. That is a tradition, and has congressional law supporting it, but the plain text of the Constitution says that it is a STATE function. There is a halfway position, though - and that is for a critical mass of purple states to pass legislation defining access to the ballot of presidential votes to prohibit constitutionally ineligible candidates from getting on the general election ballot.
- Article II Section 1:
- Each State shall appoint, in such Manner as the Legislature thereof may direct, a Number of Electors, equal to the whole Number of Senators and Representatives to which the State may be entitled in the Congress: but no Senator or Representative, or Person holding an Office of Trust or Profit under the United States, shall be appointed an Elector.
If you cant get on the ballot in PA, OH, MI, IO, FL CO or NV you might conceivably win a write-in campaign in one of them - but realistically no major party is going to nominate you. So whats needed is a model law for those - for all - states to consider which would lay the issue to rest for good and all. Such a law should also include a de minimus physical to screen for undisclosed neurological impairment.

She’s more Bernie than Bernie!
It is absolutely. What they’ve descended into is positively dangerous. Their embrace of Islam, fringe groups, and all that’s perverted and backwards would be the end of us.
Maybe in California, Oregon and Washington....she could pick up electoral votes. But she would be a hard sell in Florida, Michigan, or Ohio.
