It may be more nothing than you realize. In Comayaguela (Honduras), you can’t count the number of pairs of “American” athletic shoes of all brands, that just arrived direct from the factory in El Salvador. Fake American-made and labeled goods is a huge business, not only here but in Asia, especially. And I’d bet big bucks a lot of it makes it’s way into the US.
Reebok, hyper-aware of its lowly position behind Nike, is just trying to get some attention. Poooor sucky Reebok.

I have to confess that BAD words came to my mind when I saw that Reebok graphic. They have a lot of freaking nerve! On the other hand, I’d never heard of Jim Norton, but his Tweet was fabulous!!!

Yeah, the only thing that bothers me about Trump’s remarks is that, now, I can say I have heard him tell a lie. She is not in good shape. Looks anorexic.
But I’ll give Trump a pass on this, as perhaps he was trying to be kind since it must be so hard for any woman to be in the presence of Melania. Maybe he felt like she needed an ego boost.
Jim Norton’s a comedian, my only exposure to him was from several appearances on “Red Eye.”

I would threaten to boycott Reebok except that I switched to New Balance years ago.
And I was just about to buy a pair of JJ Watt shoes. Does Reebok not want Trump supporters’ money? What about all of the CrossFit people who support Trump?

I have to agree with you.
But who's going to be able to feel like they can compete with a super model?
What with all the pressure from advertising and media, and society on looks, the rest of the world, who don't have it to that degree, are left floundering.
EVERY woman wants to feel that she's attractive to men. A compliment from someone like Trump would go a LONG way in most women's book.
The woman should be registered as some kind of sex predator not known as a “First Lady,” then again this is France.
