When an author cannot master this very simple phrase, that is when I stop reading.

I really really hate that same grammar mistake.

The other one I really hate is the popular non-word, “irregardless”, which is I guess a combination of irrespective and regardless.

One solution would be to completely avoid that awkward construction and write, “The Washington Post doesn’t care.”
