If this dude had found someone to marry (it being Massachusetts, female or male), and handled things slightly differently, he could have had a different outcome.
His problem was overstaying his visa. Why did he do this? I don't know. They make it pretty clear that this is a major no-no. Did he take any effort at making things right or did he just flip his middle finger at the system like everyone else does?
And then he goes on Irish television and brags up being an illegal in America. Kinda tells me he didn't really give s**t.
Probably thought he'd never get deported.
