China doesn’t want an exodus of N. Koreans into China, so we might need to leave some dictator in charge.

I think wed be very pleasantly surprised at how quickly the US would take out the NK artillery aimed at Seoul. You may be right but wouldn't it necessitate a massive attack on those batteries, coincidental with the obliteration of missile launch sites and support? Shock and awe X 10.
