I have this feeling we are reaching a crescendo with the imploding and hysterical media. Simultaneous combustion.

Let us hope for a return to much more objective journalistic standards. Corporate greed at the top of these media conglomerates allows this vicious attack on our president, for ratings and for advertising cash increases based on it.

There never was objectivity in political reporting...or even reporting about non-political sensational news. Objectivity is a lie propagated by and for the media to burnish their credentials and obtain undeserved respect from the public. Back in the day, what we now call mainstream media had vastly more outlets, each with their own editorial point of view. So the public was able to get a range of political opinion and reporting. That gradually changed in the TV era, with only three networks, plus the gradual loss of many newspapers. The Internet has restored the opportunity to consume opinions from a wide variety of sources, but TV news is still controlled by closet communists.
