Governments run by Democrats are almost always a disaster....Illinois, California, New York...Michigan, etc.
The financial crisis is the direct result of progressive ideology (and the corruption that follows it).
Progressives can not fix the problem since it would require admitting that their ideology is wrong and does not work.
More money is not the answer.
Chapter 9 is not the right choice for Illinois - they should be selected Chapter 7.

Illinois is all our futures if we dont destroy the uniparty.
The enabling personality is default. President Trump and Congress may be tempted at some form of bailout for Illinois, such as, money from Texas, who are currently keeping the nation afloat.
But similarly, feeling the pain of the Obamacare mess of insurance company abandonment, this real pain for citizens changes attitudes. It changes minds.
Let Illinoians feel the pain.
