A lot of the talk surrounding Jon Ossoff‘s loss last night has been about whether Democrats have a strong enough message that resonates beyond opposition to President Trump. The hosts of The View discussed this very issue this morning.
Joy Behar in particular said that maybe Democrats don’t have that strong message:
“The fact remains that since Donald Trump won the election… the Democrats have lost three elections. So if you’re using Donald Trump as your basis for your campaign, I don’t know if it’s working. I don’t think people are going towards the Democrats… and it’s a problem.”
The media narrative about the Ossoff-Karen Handel race being about––at least in part–-a referendum on Trump led to tweets like this last night:

Behar brought up how Ossoff didn’t even live in the district and said that the Democratic party in general needs “charismatic” candidates and a clearer message.
Jedediah Bila also pointed out the massive amount of out-of-state money Ossoff received in the special election.

Vote fraud, election rigging, instilling fear of and denigrating their opponent has worked for the dems for decades. Truthfully though, they have NEVER had anything of favorable substance or honest intent to run on that would actually benefit the tax paying American people. We all know they know that but it would be a quick political suicide for them to admit it. Otherwise, the death of what was once the dem party will continue to die a slow death.

That’s because Trump is right and you are a lying, bitter harpy. If ever anuone was misnamed it would be her.
What is that now. Five special elections, and the democrats lost all of them?
Democrat pundits on TV are trying to make the point that they’re getting closer to winning some of those races, but getting close ain’t gonna get it. IN fact, getting close in those races does not mean that those races will be as close next time, and democrats could lose by bigger margins in 2018.
Then there’s the fact they won’t talk about, and which the networks nor the regular media don’t mention, and that is that, those 5 special races that democrats lost, can be interpreted as 10 losses, because they failed to win any of them the first time and lost them again this time around.
I like that the democrats are in denial or ignorant about what’s causing them to lose elections. So, they’re in for more of the same in 2018. However, we republicans can’t take anything for granted, even if democrats are clueless or in denial about their problems.

Sounds like she may have grown a dozen or so brain cells on top of that reflexive liberal brain stem. She better be careful - if she grows too many, she might go conservative.
Fear not, Joy, I’m sure if a special election were held in San Francisco to replace Nancy Pelosi, the Democrat would win.
