Who gives a Top Secret security clearance to someone who has limited life experience and apparently is one of those youthful, arrogant, useful idiots so full of Trump hatred that she could care less of the damage she could do to the country?
Try Pluribus International Corporation who gave a Top Secret security clearance to "Reality Leigh Winner".

Security clearances are given by the government, not the contractor.

Does a corporation such as this one have the authority to grant security clearance to its employees? I could be wrong but that doesn’t sound correct to me.

Yep, gave security clearance to a member of a Islamic group, a person who actively trashed President Trump, and apparently was reading up on Snowden. Wow. Her employer should lose their contract and the person who issued her clearance should be fired. Incredible.

Does a corporation such as this one have the authority to grant security clearance to its employees? The contractor requests a clearance; it is granted (or not) by the government entity with which the contractor has a contract.

Security clearances are given by the government, not the contractor. They're granted by the government, but owned by the contracting company.

She probably got her Security Clarence while in the Air Force.

I was thinking in terms of contracting companies because clearances cost so much. Usually TS clearances cost about $25,000.

Regardless of the size of the contractor, the clearance or access is granted (or not) by the government entity. Background investigation etc. is done by government. Contractor pays, though.

She probably got her Security Clarence while in the Air Force. She may have, but would have lost it upon discharge. However, if she had one while in the AF it would have made it easier for her contracting company to secure a clearance for her when they hired her.

Security clearances are given by the government, not the contractor.A government that remains filled with thousands of low and mid-level Obama loyalists.
Obama and Valerie Jarrett bought a home together in DC to keep an eye on things.
