I think I can speak for quite a few when I say that we are not inherently hostile to CFP.
What gets the hackles up is when the forum is endlessly spammed with excerpts and clickbait by a poster who (with *exceedingly* rare exceptions) never even deigns to acknowledge the FReepers who comment on his articles and visit his site.
A little interaction and open sharing of material would go a long way to ease the feeling that we’re being badly used.
Please do so since CFP is definitely NOT a hostile political website and in fact, articles have been posted from them for several years without all this sudden angst.......
Would I come under the same attack if I should start posting articles from their site on a regular basis? I can name another member who regularly posts from Town Hall.......So what does that make him?
Folks need to lighten up here and stop attacking our own.......
And it would be really NICE if the unnecessary excerpting would be over with as CFP is not on the “Excerpt or link only” page.
That is truly annoying.
