Free Republics rules on what can an can not be posted in full

Sorry, but FR imposes limitations only when it has a specific request from a source to either allow no posting (such as Getty), link-only posting (such as Bloomberg), or excerpt posting (such as the Washington Post). It's up to the website Canada Free Press to tell FR that entire article posts are not allowed, and I don't recall such a request, and I've been a mod for nearly ten years. Don't blame us for your posting excerpts.

I'd like to know how a site gets linked on the home page. I see that Salon is linked, but Canada Free Press is not. Yet I believe that Freepers hold CFP in much higher regard than Salon. Would people be less hostile to CFP if there were a link sharing arrangement?
