Thanks for the finest Memorial Day tribute I've read. Zot, You write so well. It is well past time to compile this stories into a book that shows a side of the Vietnam war and the American character the left wants us to forget and never acknowledge.

Thank you for your comments. I searched Amazon.com and found very few books about Civic Action in Vietnam — a couple about the Marine Corps, and two about Air Force Civic Action that stop in 1968. I would like to see it done, but to find enough of these stories for a book would take more research than I can do.
